The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)

Podcast episode 58 is available by clicking below.  It is also available on iTunes, Pocket Cast, and Spotify under the travel architect.

A Thanksgiving-themed joke starts us off, after which we diss Black Friday.  Then, the husband continues his misalphabetizing streak (planned this time) with a South American Travel Quiz.  Unsurprisingly, the concept of cast iron skillet pizza gets different reactions from each of us, but so does the Travel Bucket List destination.  I plug a new, Brysonesque travel book I’m reading (and loving), and then we get excited over some upcoming travel related purchases (alas, not plane tickets) before building anticipation for the husband’s ELC Thanksgiving Special coming out in a few days.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  1. The Wombles were a bit before my time but my mum owned a couple of teddy-bear-like things of Orinoco and Uncle Bulgaria which were pretty cool!
It was really interesting to hear where the name Llama came from, I might have heard that before but a bit of trivia that I’d seemingly forgotten.
Also if you moved to Italy for your book (rather than Arizona!) you and your husband could enjoy pizza for all of the various national days and months throughout the year 😉
