The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)

Podcast episode 59 is available by clicking below.  It is also available on iTunes, Pocket Cast, and Spotify under the travel architect.

The husband starts out cranky, but his mood lifts considerably by the time we finish with the national day; meanwhile, my good mood only improves once I learn that we aren’t being subjected to an Arsenal Update.  The husband reveals the location of his “Thanksgiving Special” ELC as well as the rationale behind each clue, but in doing so, shirks his Travel Quiz duties.  I pick up the mantel and foist a Christmas-themed Travel Quiz on the husband that has him rightly poking fun at my pronunciation attempts.  What follows is a medley of travel and COVID news items that ends with us at odds over our willingness to get on a 747 Max 8 airplane.  Finally, we learn about the recent travel/tourist woes of the tiny village of Fu#@ing, Austria (which I can’t spell out without risking an “explicit” warning label on the pod), and I manage to squeeze in a TV show recommendation before the pod tech manager—rediscovering his grumpiness—cuts me off.

  1. Very sad the hubby didn’t offer us a lengthy Arsenal update! Definitely feel for you though as I can’t imagine the football helped the hubby’s mood yesterday! On the plus side, it put me in a great mood 😉

I wasn’t miles away on the ELC guess, not that I thought I was right with my guess haha. Haven’t been to Weymouth but I’ll have to get down there at some point 🙂
Also, I don’t think you’d done the UK quiz question but it’s definitely come up in conversations.
