The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)

Podcast episode 20 is available by clicking below.  It is also available on iTunes under thetravelarchitect.  It can take up to 24 hours to be available in iTunes.

We’re on friendlier terms this week, and after presenting the history behind England’s Guy Fawkes Night, the husband presents the Travel Architect with a less challenging (but by no means easy) animal-centered travel quiz.  Foods and culinary terms from around the world leave us scratching our heads (see picture below).  The NYT Sunday crossword is praised for several clues that just happen to relate directly to the blog and/or podcast.  Then it’s on to updates on Andorra travel planning and the Laos/Cambodia trip that’s looming large.  Thanks for listening.

Culinary terms
If you can enlighten us as to the meaning of any of these foods/culinary terms, we’d be most grateful.

  1. The tube was an interesting comparison on last week’s quiz (interstate terminus).. you do at the very least get told where the end destination is any time you use the tube. If you’re paying attention I think it’d be reasonable to know where they end on a quiz! Anyway, much better quiz this week! Love the picture of the dugong.
I also love that you didn’t get Arsenal on the crossword haha. Another really good episode!
