The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)
Podcast episode 53 is available by clicking below. It is also available on iTunes, Pocket Cast, and Spotify under the travel architect.
This week’s joke and national day pay tribute to the husband and his chosen academic field, though he isn’t nearly appreciative enough about it. I perform dismally in this first in a new continent-themed Travel Quiz series. The question is: How much do YOU know about Antarctica? We then discuss the virtues of Yellowstone National Park and our thoughts on Chicago being named “best large US city” for the fourth year running, before marveling at a strange new aero-pastime: taking flights to nowhere. Huh?

Agree with you both on Chicago (and we live in it’s suburbs). Nice city to visit perhaps once, great food scene, but wouldn’t call it the best.
And, yes, don’t miss the flying at all. Miss the travel!!!

I have never seen any of those frozen pizzas in any supermarket in any city I’ve ever lived in. But it sounds like maybe I’m not missing out on much…

Thanks for the little shout-out – that is me now completely up to date! It has definitely been an enjoyable way to pass the time at work 🙂
As for Chicago being top big city in the US.. I do like Chicago (and Manchester for that matter) but I don’t think I’d rank either as the best of their respective countries. There’s certainly nicer US cities that I’d want to return to before Chicago.
Anyway, I look forward to the next episode! I’m in the rare position where I now have to wait until they’re posted!
