Podcast episode 80 is available by clicking below. It is also available on iTunes, Pocket Cast, and Spotify under the travel architect.
After our longest absence ever from the pod (6 weeks!), we’re back and as rusty as ever. After I fail to make both the joke and national day about travel, the husband attempts to stump me with a limnological quiz that allows some rare open-ended responses. After publicly thanking a pod listener who passed the pod, I fully expect the husband to launch into his Colorado trip, which he does. Sort of. If talking about Nebraska qualifies as talking about his Colorado trip. We end by detailing our new “keep life sane” publication schedule and run down the myriad posts that have been published since early June. Thanks for your patience while we were off traveling, and thanks for sticking with us!

What?! Blasphemy!! (Unless you’re talking about the eastern plains of Colorado, in which case you’re totally correct.)

Have always been interested in podcasts, and it’s great to know that you’re back. I’m definitely going to check this out when I’m doing my garden weeding tomorrow!

We go great with garden weeding! I personally listen to it while washing dishes, but hey, whatever works!

The lake quiz was interesting, although definitely some generous scoring from the husband haha.
Also, after saying how remote Nebraska was I had to google what was actually in the state. This article cropped up and made me chuckle, the town’s census doubled from one to two people for some unknown reason: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/nebraska-monowi-residents-census-bureau-b1907948.html

That must have been jarring for her. I’ll bet she was mad – someone stealing her spotlight like that. 😉
