The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)
Podcast Episode 9 is now available by clicking below. It’s also on Podbean and iTunes at thetravelarchitect.
We mention some travel plans for the (very distant) future, discuss what wouldn’t happen in Vail (and what they are trying to have happen in Vail), and finally get down to the nitty-gritty of our Colorado trip, replete with Dating Game-esque questions for the husband.
We also mention how the husband finally made a grilled pizza, which was referenced in a previous podcast. Here is some photographic evidence of his efforts:

Oh no! Not my intention. So sorry – and on that note, don’t read my next post that’ll come out next Tuesday or Wednesday. It’ll be about our latest petsitting experience in Colorado. Just a cat (super cool) this time, but it might tear you to pieces and I don’t want that on my conscience right before I’m about to travel to your homeland!!!

I need to load up episodes of your podcast for my upcoming road trip to TX/NM. That kettle pizza grill oven looks awesome!

Wow! We’d be honored to be your auditory distraction while you drive. Plus, it’d kinda be like getting to go there… in a way. I’m sure the drive will be stunning. Look forward to reading about it.

While I’m looking forward to the trip, it may not be too exciting for blog material. Much of the trip will be pet-sitting in a suburban home near Dallas. I’ll share the space with my dog and my sister’s two dogs (and a fourth when my Mom brings hers up too). I’m hoping for lots of quiet time to write, but I may just be managing dogs much of the time. That’s not a bad thing, as they are all good pups. But after that will just be me and Juni wandering New Mexico. I can’t wait!

My next post is going to be about our petsit in Colorado, so I’ll be there’ll be some good material there, especially with all those dogs! We love NM – it’s the husband’s favorite state and it’s way up there for me. Can I inquire as to where you’ll be going in the state, or will telling me ruin your potential blog posts?

I look forward to your Colorado pet-sitting post! I’m not sure yet where I’m going, though will likely stay in the mountains of Northern NM due to the heat. I will tent or car camp most nights and being solo with the dog limits where I can go. I’d like to spend a few days in Taos. Other options are Santa Fe, Las Vegas (NM, not NV), Heron Lake State Park, Abiquiu, and Jemez Mountains. Do you have any suggestions? I’m always looking for new places in NM to explore!

Another fun listen. Enjoyed the joke (cow with no legs), glad this one went down better with the husband. The pizza looked like it turned out great. The Colorado round up with questions was a fun way to do it too 🙂
