After an “animal forward” joke, I present a rare international day to honor our favorite four-legged fellows in the animal kingdom. The bucket list destination elicits stories of spicy dares and reveals the lengths (some) young lovers will go to to impress each other. Later, the husband decides to punish me with quiz about one of his favorite travelers from the land of myth, and I surprise myself by crushing it by dint of knowledge buried deep within my brain that I didn’t know was there and not by lucky guesses or his easier-than-usual yes/no answer format. After that we explore a list of the top five places to live if you love to travel. Will you be as surprised by the last place as we were? We end with an update on the hows, whys, and latest changes to our planned Christmas trip to the motherland.

So how about this- summers and fall in Minneapolis and winters and spring in Atlanta- the best of both!

I love those Blue Diamond Bold almonds! Haven’t seen the Carolina Reaper flavor, though. I’m currently working my way through a can of Cayenne Pepper.

I so enjoyed the discussion about where to live to best have access to travel. I’m dreaming on! 🥰 In the states, I would opt for New York or Boston for Europe travel, San Francisco (I wouldn’t want to live in LA) for Asian/Australian travel, all cities I love. Best of luck on your travel plans to England and negotiating whatever the requirements are at the time. Looking forward to hearing the story.

Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed it. I was kind of surprised New York and LA weren’t included, but I guess they were also considering good placement for US domestic travel as well.

Interesting to hear the discussion about best places to live for travel. Didn’t expect Minnesota to be in the five but that’s pretty cool! London I certainly expected.
