Podcast episode 96 is available by clicking below.  It is also available on iTunes, Pocket Cast, and Spotify under the travel architect.

Sewer problems, monkey pox, 47-second flights, exotic animals, pushy parent companies, and the beach scene in Duluth, Minnesota—it’s a tossed salad of trivial travel tidbits on today’s podcast. In and amongst the craziness I manage to shoehorn in a few carefully-placed mentions of the Southern destination I want the husband to agree to for a fall getaway. We then experience vibrant Miami and its Formula 1 debut through the eyes of middle-aged, pasty-skinned English Minnesotan who no habla español and is usually asleep by 8:30pm. Special thanks to Cousin Brian who made this adventure possible.

  1. So behind on listening to these (and blog-reading and posting..) but I do hope the Arsenal update is still a feature of these podcasts 😉

    1. Hey! Long time no see! How are things? Alas, no. The husband doesn’t really comment on Arsenal on the pod anymore, but he sure does comment on it around the house. Season just ended (as you know). Finally, I can get some peace around here! 🙂

      1. Things are good! I spent six weeks in the US and then immediately caught Covid on the way home but things are good now haha. Hope all is well with you.

Enjoy your peace for a few more months! You lucked out a little as it’s a World Cup year and it’s usually held in the summer months but it’s a Winter World Cup this year so a football-free summer 😉

    1. Photos of Miami? That’s up to the husband and whether he can get a post written. It being the end of the school year, I have my doubts. Heck, he’s been back a couple of weeks now and I’ve barely seen any of his pictures!
