A few of my indispensable resources…

I’m the American half of a British-American two-teacher family.  The husband and I both love to travel and our “nine months on, three months off” schedule makes this very convenient (except during the nine months on).  We have a house rabbit, whom we miss terribly when we are away.  We’ve also recently adopted two kittens, which is probably not the smartest move for people who love to travel, but we’re certain we can make it work.

Just chillin’

We love all types of travel, from road trips to international exploration to beach vacations, and I love to plan it all!

Thanks for checking out my blog. Feel free to poke around, have a read, leave a comment and/or follow me. Most importantly, get out there and travel!

Red: I’ve driven through but not actually visited, per se

    1. Thank you. You are so lucky to live there. Colorado is my #1 favorite state. Can’t believe I’ve never lived there. I often wonder what the heck I’m doing in MN. I figure I’ve been to your great state at least a dozen or so times. I don’t normally put links to my blog in the comments, but in this case, I thought you might like reading my post about Leadville (in which is embedded a link about our experiences climbing Colorado 14ers). Don’t feel compelled, but be sure to enjoy the mountains every day for those of us who can’t. 🙂

    2. I second that as a Coloradan! Just found your site. Let me know if you ever have questions about travel in Croatia (an area of the world I know a lot about). And yes, Leadville is great, one of a handful of mountain towns that still maintain an old Colorado vibe and aesthetic, not having gone down the road to glamour and glitz.

    1. Thank you. I read your “about” page and we are very much alike: I now regret not studying English (with a writing focus) in college. I, too, prefer to make my blogs more personal, and full-time work also keeps me from working on my blog as much as I’d like. I look forward to following along with your travel tales.

    1. Thank you so much! That makes my day! Yes, though I grumble that I don’t get to choose when my time off is, the amount of time off can’t be beaten. We definitely will be in touch if/when Vietnam becomes something more than a wish. Just a few months ago I met up with two blog buddies – both in SE Asia on our travels!

  1. I don’t believe I’ve stumbled upon this post before, but it’s always awesome to read these personalised pages. Not that you’re not already doing it, with podcasts and your abundance of pics, but this is still cool. Thanks for sharing!
