I’m the American half of a British-American two-teacher family. The husband and I both love to travel and our “nine months on, three months off” schedule makes this very convenient (except during the nine months on). We have a house rabbit, whom we miss terribly when we are away. We’ve also recently adopted two kittens, which is probably not the smartest move for people who love to travel, but we’re certain we can make it work.
We love all types of travel, from road trips to international exploration to beach vacations, and I love to plan it all!
Thanks for checking out my blog. Feel free to poke around, have a read, leave a comment and/or follow me. Most importantly, get out there and travel!
Looks great, I’ll follow along!

I like the Colorado Guide prominently displayed 🙂 We live in CO. If you ever need any suggestions for vacationing here please let me know. Happy travels.

Thank you. You are so lucky to live there. Colorado is my #1 favorite state. Can’t believe I’ve never lived there. I often wonder what the heck I’m doing in MN. I figure I’ve been to your great state at least a dozen or so times. I don’t normally put links to my blog in the comments, but in this case, I thought you might like reading my post about Leadville (in which is embedded a link about our experiences climbing Colorado 14ers). Don’t feel compelled, but be sure to enjoy the mountains every day for those of us who can’t. 🙂

I second that as a Coloradan! Just found your site. Let me know if you ever have questions about travel in Croatia (an area of the world I know a lot about). And yes, Leadville is great, one of a handful of mountain towns that still maintain an old Colorado vibe and aesthetic, not having gone down the road to glamour and glitz.

Thank you. I read your “about” page and we are very much alike: I now regret not studying English (with a writing focus) in college. I, too, prefer to make my blogs more personal, and full-time work also keeps me from working on my blog as much as I’d like. I look forward to following along with your travel tales.

❤ I love seeing this and reading your adventures. You guys are so lucky! What do you do with your bun while you travel?
Have you come to New Orleans, yet?

Thanks!
We usually get a petsitter from the same organization through which we petsit. It’s great because it’s a built-in housesitter, too.
No, not yet, but it’s on the list!

Ahhh one of the best benefits of teaching has to be the three months paid vacation huh! If you ever head our way (home base Viet Nam) give us a shout!

Thank you so much! That makes my day! Yes, though I grumble that I don’t get to choose when my time off is, the amount of time off can’t be beaten. We definitely will be in touch if/when Vietnam becomes something more than a wish. Just a few months ago I met up with two blog buddies – both in SE Asia on our travels!

Splendid writing style! Greetings from a couple of fellow travelers/pet parents over in Virginia! Although, instead of a bunny, it’s a 50 lbs. Pit Bull with separation anxiety issues.

A few, but alas, for the international ones, putting her in the bowels of a plane would not end well!
