Our first ELC of the summer season brought in a number of responses but there was one that stood out. It was the Northwest Angle, or Angle Inlet.

The Northwest angle is very difficult to reach, and is usually reached by boat or plane. Driving there requires several border crossings and a robust vehicle (lots of gravel miles). Well this week’s conundrum takes you to a very different place. I’ll give a little hint and say that we have never visited and (as a bonus) it is not within the U.S.

ELC Episode 25

Go ahead and grab your atlases, have a ponder and leave your answers in the replies below, or send directly to thetravelarchitectblog@gmail.com. Good luck!

  1. Wow! Thanks for the shout out! (I think that’s me 🙂 ). So, I got confused at obtuse/acute. I went to triangle rather than angle, and it was all downhill from there. Loved the explanation and learning about this place and the phone booth, which I now must visit and call in my immigration!

As for this new one, yikes, just don’t know again. Will wait for the answer next week!

    1. Thanks so much for the feedback and for giving it a go. Actually, a lot of them have answers from around the world and the husband tries to make sure it’s not focused solely on the US. (He’s not from the US either.) The most recent episode is far from the US. Thanks for writing in, listening, and reading!
