The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)

Podcast episode 31 is available by clicking below.  It is also available on iTunes under the travel architect.  It can take up to 24 hours to be available in iTunes.

Embracing this Leap Day role-change with enthusiasm (the husband) and skepticism (The Travel Architect), we exchange our usual podcast duties.  You’ll have to judge for yourself if the husband’s first attempt at a joke was as big of a bomb as The Travel Architect deemed it.  The Leap Day/Year-themed Travel Quiz is followed by the world’s shortest ever Arsenal Update, and then the husband launches into a lesson on all things Leap, which, while interesting, seems to be only marginally related to travel.  Happy Leap Day one and all!

The Leap Day Cocktail

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 1 dash fresh lemon juice

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake well for 10 seconds and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Twist a piece of lemon peel over the drink and use for garnish.

  1. The cocktail sounds interesting, but I had a bad experience with vermouth once: I tasted it. Let’s just say a little bit goes a long way, and I am not a fan of the martini!
