The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)
Podcast episode 52 is available by clicking below. It is also available on iTunes, Pocket Cast, and now on Spotify under the travel architect.
After a delightful travel-themed joke, we discuss money matters and saving for travel. Following that, the husband offers up an impossible car-themed Travel Quiz. Then we give two thumbs up to the idea of visiting a very popular park in Croatia, disclose the experience of eating this week’s Frozen Pizza Challenge offering, and learn that even someone young and vibrant can have senior moments. Finally, I lay bare my agony over deciding whether to travel by plane during these uncertain times, and share my interview with a friend who recently did just that.

Yes. Let’s see if it wins the “better than frozen pizza” frozen pizza award. Stand by…

Haven’t listened to the episode yet, but if their marketing slogan isn’t “Plitvice: Hit This!” then somebody isn’t doing their job.

I know you like living in South Dakota, but you would do well in Balkan advertising.

It’s interesting that the topic of ‘scariest airports’ came up because I actually very recently went to Gibraltar. As the hubby suggests, there’s a main road that crosses the runway so you have to drive (or walk) over it to get in to the main part of Gibraltar – quite unique!
Additionally, that also means I’ve flown very recently (just over a week ago). I felt alright with it all. They (British Airways) disembark the planes in row order so ask passengers not to get up and grab their luggage until their row has been called to exit so it reduces the usual chaos when the flight lands. Gibraltar still has 0 Covid deaths so felt like a very good place to travel to. I’m hoping to actually post about it sometime soon, I’ve not posted since July so need to get up to speed with the new WP block editor!
Also, tricky travel quiz but think the hubby did a good job on making it a little easier by putting the country in alphabetical order at least. I had no idea Lexus was Japanese!

Aha! I’m not the only one confused by the origin of Lexuses (Lexi?).
Yes, I wondered where you’d gone off to. Glad you have some travels to write about. I wish I were so lucky.
