The Travel Architect & The Husband Team Up to Talk About Travel (Mostly)
Podcast Episode 8 is now available by clicking below. It is also available on Podbean and iTunes at thetravelarchitect.
After a brief hiatus while we traveled, we are back, and, in addition to the usual, the husband introduces a new segment: It Wouldn’t Happen in Vail. Oddly, we don’t discuss as much of the trip (yet) as we expected, but we do divulge a secret for driving across flyover country that will have you taking many more road trips. We end with a very butchered Welsh apology.

…I’ve just listened to this and…what was that language at the end? Is it supposed to be Welsh? Haha! But seriously, flattered to be mentioned and happy to give you some material. Maybe just stick to learning how to say ‘hello’ (Bora Da) I’m going to listen to another one now!

I don’t have a “it wouldn’t happen in Vail” example, but I’ve always found this ridiculous and it sets my impression of the type of person who lives there. The highway was there before the town, but now the residents want Coloradans to spend billions of dollars to move the highway because they don’t like the sound and traffic. Yeah… http://www.vailhomeowners.com/Eliminating%20I70%20Update%20081706.htm

Good job on the quiz! New York not being on the list of busiest airports surprised me. I knew Atlanta was on it and don’t blame you for trying to avoid it haha.
Looking forward to hearing more attempts at Welsh and the Vail examples in future pod episodes!

Thank you! At this point I’d welcome a chance to go to the airport – any airport! Even Atlanta!
